www.ArabesqueJournal.com The finest Middle Eastern Dance magazine of its time--back issues available.

www.DaliaCarella.com Color, excitement, passion, Dunyavi Rom Dance are hallmarks of this incredible performer and researcher.

http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/idd Donna Carlton has been a friend for two decades. She authored "Looking for Little Egypt" which is a must for every dancer's library. Her site is a mecca of videos and fascinating articles. Jamila Salimpour's presentation about her start and progression with the Dance is absolutely fascinating. Ms. Salimpour is highly esteemed and is one of the originators of our Dance in America.

http://home.earthlink.net/~evacernik/eva.htm Eva Cernik is one of the smallest packages of dancing dynamite I've ever seen. Her energy is boundless and connected by fluid movement. Study with her, if possible. She has very unusual links on her site

www.mid-east.com had a ceramic doumbek which I bought 30 years ago. I've never heard a better sound and my drum is the pattern for a potter friend who makes drums for sale. These drums are a good value at both full price or reduced price for slight blemishes on the ceramic.

www.natashadances.com is the web site for Natasha, one of my important mentors in my dance lineage. She inspired me for two decades in the mid-west before we both headed west. Notice her page on 'Movements for Taqasim".

Peterson, Eric messaged me when I first posted my site. As a percussionist , I appreciate Eric's links to great drummers of our Middle Eastern Rhythms. You can find Eric at http://www.geocities.com/ericnpeters/

www.rakkasah.com is the site for the largest Middle Eastern folk Festival and Fantasy Bazaar in the world. Located in Richmond, CA I've heard it is an overwhelming but necessary pilgrimage. Road trip!

www.SalaamBand.com Salaam is the group of ultra-professional musicians with whom it has been my profound pleasure to perform. Well-studied in the rhythms and diverse musical cultures of Middle Eastern countries, their CD's are available for order.

Shareen El Safy co-produced the International Conference on Middle Eastern Dance in 2001 and publishes Habibi, the outstanding Middle Eastern publication for dancers and Middle Eastern scholars. www.ShareenElSafy.com

www.Suhaila.com The legendary, premier performer and daughter of Jamila Salimpour.

www.sydmedfest.com I found this listing early on as I researched for the creation of my site. What a FUN site--the festival photos are fabulous, incredibly colorful, inspirational. Seeing these photos of beautifully dressed men and women reminds me how much I enjoyed seeing listings for dance teachers when I travelled Australia, New Zealand and Tasmania. This site proves how much is going on down south in the Pacific.

www.Turath.org features Jihad Racy, Ph.D., dance musicologist, concert scheduling for the one and only Fairuz and fascinating history on Arabic music. Recordings of Fairuz and Sabah impressed me from the beginning in my relationship with this Dance.

Yasmina is a new friend from the Valley dance community in the Phoenix area. Her site
www.joyofbellydancing.com is an extensive listing of links to art work, poetry, prose, costuming, area teachers and more, more, more neat stuff!

Ibrahim Farrah is the godfather to Middle Eastern Dance in America. Mr. Farrah is gone now but your web search by his name will connect you to this brilliant dancer/teacher/choreographer/finger cymbal technician.
